The 16th Annual North Star Tarot Conference

Next Conference: May 17 - 19, 2024, in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Image shows the Star tarot card from the Waite Smith deck with a white winter hat on the woman's head. The North Star Tarot Conference is a step child of the Reader’s Studio in New York. After returning from New York in 2008, Nancy Antenucci and Melani Weber became part of a founder’s group to offer a conference closer to home. For many years, we held the conference in the dead of winter. We found great light in using that time to honor Bridgid and the Imbolc. A core group of dedicated tarot lovers developed for this weekend of a tarot immersion. Recently we moved to Modus Locus in Mpls and to Spring.

Our key presenters are wise teachers and well seasoned readers. This gathering has given birth to a deck, a book, theater presentations, and more. It is the catalyst as well for a year long look through our FB page to keep the exploration growing. North Star acts as a yearly infusion for those of us that read or study tarot mostly in seclusion.

Past presentations are varied and inspired, and include:

  • The history of the numerical tarot cards for each year, presented by Jeannette Roth of Tarot Garden
  • The Goddess Brigid
  • One Card Readings
  • Create your own 5-minute tarot deck
  • Tarot on the Orient Express
  • The Wheel of Fortune and the Medicine Wheel
  • Hebrew & the Hermit
  • Tarot Tour of Italy
  • Tarot Shaman

The 16th Annual North Star Tarot Conference

Photo shows the Modus Locus Expansion building in Minneapolis, MN.During the weekend of May 17, 2024, we return around the tables to read the cards, make new friends, and rekindle spiritual and emotional relationships that are dear to us. Each North Star is a deep dive into the Tarot cards of the year. 2024 is the year of Justice, Star and sometimes Strength (2+0+2+4=8). Pretty telling of an election year although we ask for a space of neutrality in terms of politics and religion.

The environment is as enticing as the kindreds. We return to the Modus Locus Expansion at Art & Architecture; an artistic space full of beauty, light and comfortable spots to converse. There is an upper parking lot that provides access for all bodies.

TICKETS for the full weekend are $180.00. Or join us for just Saturday’s activities for $120.00. Friday night is our 5D Lounge which is free and open to the public!

Featuring: Workshops, tarot readings, arts & crafts, tarot games, a movie night, Sunday bonfire finale and more

(Event details subject to change. COVID Vaccination required. Saturday and Sunday events are 18+, Teens welcome with an adult at Friday events.)
